Hyacinths

Hyacinths (Hyacinthus) are bulbous plants known for their striking and fragrant flowers. They produce clusters of flowers shaped like small bells or tubes. They come in a variety of colours, including blue, pink, white, purple, yellow and red. One of the most striking features of hyacinths is their strong and pleasant fragrance. The scent can vary depending on the variety.

Daffodils

When the snowdrops and crocuses have finished flowering, the daffodils awaken in the spring garden. The daffodil is an early bloomer and provides a cheerful note. Best known in golden yellow, but also available in many other colours.

Daffodil bulbs are the bulbs for spring. They are cheerful, low-maintenance and fantastic naturalisers. No garden is complete without daffodils. For indoors, daffodil bulbs are also popular, for example in a nice pot!

Flower bulbs

Also suitable for outdoors
The bulbs are also suitable for outdoors. Placing them in a basket or container or in the garden immediately creates a cosy atmosphere in the garden or on the balcony. As it is still cool outside in the months of January to April, the bulbs give pleasure for a long time.

Tip: temperatures from around 2°C and up can easily handle them. But if there is a long night frost, bring the bulb flowers inside.

Care for

Some tips
The bulb-on-pot can withstand sunlight well. But when a bulb is placed directly behind the glass in a place with a lot of sunlight, the flower grows extra quickly. We therefore recommend choosing a cooler spot in the house;

Water the bulb flower twice a week, as it likes moist soil. Once the flower blooms, it is good to water a little three times a week;

A suitable room temperature is between 17°C and 22°C. Do not place a flower bulb near a heater either, as this will also make the flower grow faster.
