Vilosa like to offer customers a complete package of high quality flowering pot plants. Alongside the main product of Kalanchoes, they therefore also grow Celosias, Chrysanthemums and Princettias. The focus is thereby on the pot sizes 8 cm, 10.5 cm, 12 cm and 14 cm. One unique element in Vilosa’s range is the Kalanchoe Specialties, and exclusive selection of eccentric and unusual botanical Kalanchoes. Vilosa grow many of them exclusively, including the surprising Kalanchoe Magic Bells, the cheerful Lucky Bells, the idiosyncratic Dreambells, the rugged Surprising Desert, and the strong Kalanchoe Sunny. For Vilosa, being distinctive is important! They are constantly searching for new delights for their range. Hence they added the unique Kalanchoe Mosaic - a Kalanchoe that can change colour - to the range last year.

Thinking along with the customer

Every season Vilosa offer an updated range whereby they think along with both the customer and the consumer. For example, the Kalanchoe Garden range with ready-made ton-sur-ton balcony containers or handy carrying trays. They also offer a wide choice of added value, such as ceramics in trend colours or festive decorative spikes. That allows Vilosa to both offer the customer a finished product and save them effort in ensuring the display is complete. Sustainable & innovative

Reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to a great future for the next generation is very important to Vilosa. So it’s no surprise that they were the first pot plant grower to obtain the Planet Proof quality mark. This is evidence of the sustainability efforts that they make in areas such as generating their own power, the closed water chain and as much use of biological crop protection as possible. But Vilosa believe that you cannot supply a green product on your own. So they also engage their suppliers in the search for sustainable solutions, such as recycled plastic pots and trays and good traceability of cuttings.
