Celosia is unique

If you look closely at the whole flower, you can see that the comb is a modified part of the stem. The flowers are densely packed on the sides of the comb. Its graceful shapes are truly unique - there is no other flower that comes close to Celosia.

Types of Celosia

The most famous form is the cockscomb. But there are other types, such as the globe-shaped Celosias with a structure that resembles brains, fluffy plumes and very large fan-shaped flowers. The flower comes in various colours: white, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange, green or multicoloured. An active breeding programme means there is constant innovation in terms of colours and forms.

Towards Celosias all year round

Celosia breeders and growers are working very hard on product development. They are using their expertise, new genetics and new forms of cultivation to capitalise on opportunities. This is creating new opportunities to grow Celosia almost all year round.

Celosia in the vase

Celosia shines in a bouquet with various flower types. As well as combining with other flowers, the Celosia is also perfect for making a mono bouquet. The flower's striking shape means that this is definitely not a boring bouquet. But you can also use the Celosia very well for lavish arrangements or events, since the stems are nice and firm and the flowers last a long time.
